
THE PURPOSE OF THIS WEB SITE IS TO PROVIDE PUBLIC ACCESS TO:
1) GENERAL INFORMATION about the Western Yellow-billed Cuckoo (Coccyzus americanus occidentalis), focusing on the southwestern United States;
2) A YELLOW-BILLED CUCKOO SEARCHEABLE BIBLIOGRAPHY;
3) AN INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM concerning the Western Yellow-billed Cuckoo, including available survey data collected from 1998 to present by researchers from the USGS Southwest Biological Science Center's Sonoran Desert Field Station in Tucson and the Colorado Plateau Field Station in Flagstaff, and the Arizona Game and Fish Department in Phoenix, Arizona..
Creation of this spatially-enabled web site was initially by the USGS/BRD Colorado Plateau Field Station.
