Support for this project has been provided in part by the US Geological Survey (USGS). Research support from the US Geological Survey provided salary, travel and costs associated with portions of the fieldwork. Eddie Westphal, Co-Principal Investigator and head of West Engineering, provided logistical support at Pretoria and Irene in the form of lodging and transportation.
